Preliminary Development Review Committee

Purpose and Typical Duties

The Preliminary Development Review Committee vets zoning applicant concepts and applications in advance of bringing the application to the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors.

There are no limits on the number of terms a member may serve.

Number of Members

9 members and stakeholders as needed. 

Meeting Time and Place

Meetings are held in the Administration Building Auditorium at 414 N. Main Street on the First Tuesday of each month at 9:30 am.

Member Qualification

This committee consist of two Board of Supervisors, the Planning Commission Chair, the County Administrator, the County Planner/Zoning Administrator, the Senior Building Official, a Citizen Representative, the County Attorney (as necessary), and stakeholders.

Members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors at their Annual Organization Meeting.
