Accounting provides accounts payable services to vendors and citizens. Additionally, it ensures that all requisitions are in compliance with County procurement policies and procedures. 

W-9 Policy

The Internal Revenue Service requires that the County of Madison obtain Form W-9 from independent contractors, consultants, and other self-employed workers that are hired by the County.  

Payment Policy

The County policy is to issue payment within 30 days of receipt of accurate invoice or receipt of goods or services whichever is later.
