The United States Constitution, the Constitution of Virginia, and the Code of Virginia require that the Commonwealth and its localities redistrict following the Decennial Census.
At the Board of Supervisors meeting held on February 22, 2022, there was a unanimous vote to maintain the current precincts or lines within Madison County without changes. The minutes from that meeting can be accessed Here.
If you are a registered voter in Madison County, the only changes were in your Congressional District, Senate District, and House District numerical designations. These changes can be seen in the table. You should have received a new voter card in the mail at the conclusion of statewide redistricting to reflect these changes.
