The Board of Supervisors County Staff and the Planning Commission obtain legal advice and services through contractual arrangements with an attorney. The County Attorney serves at the pleasure of the Board for a fee and/or such hourly rate(s) as agreed to by the Board. The County Attorney advises and represents the County officials and employees in civil matters, including civil litigation, and assists with the preparation of ordinances and resolutions. |
